UK Manufacturer and Distributor
We are a privately-owned UK company, with many years of experience providing the design and manufacture of electrical and RF cable assembly products, and the distribution of their associated components.
Since 2001 we have been the European Master Distributor for Times Microwave, a leading manufacturer of high-performance RF connectors and coaxial cable.
Our History
We were established in 1990, when we were known as Select Enterprises. We then rebranded as Select Cables, and in 2012 we became Scott Cables. Whatever we have been called, we have always prided ourselves on delivering high-quality products and exemplary customer service. And all our manufacturing is done in the UK.
Cable Assembly
From our modern facility in Hampshire, we manufacture and supply custom cable assemblies suitable for some very challenging environments. These are used in a variety of industry sectors, including defence, aerospace, rail, automotive, telecoms and broadcast.

Because we are an independent business, we can offer impartial advice and react quickly to our customers’ needs. Our collective knowledge ensures that you get quality products with quality performance, so that your projects run smoothly and on track.
There is usually no minimum order size in terms of quantity or value – we just get your product to you fully tested and ready for installation, with no unnecessary waste.
Our customers recognise our consistent quality record and we have been granted ‘ship-to-stock’ status at several major OEMs. This means that there is no internal inspection, thus saving you time and money.

Accreditation and standards
You can be assured of the quality of our products. Not only are our experienced production operators trained to IPC/WHMA-A-620, a recognised industry-standard for cable assembly production techniques, but all our cable assemblies are 100% electrically tested. For our aerospace and defence customers, we are JOSCAR registered to demonstrate that we have the appropriate credentials.
